"Guoooooooooooooooh!"
Ooki's roar echoes.
That voice, which vibrates the eardrums, inherently possesses the power to instill fear in any human being.
But right now, it sounded like nothing more than the bluffing of a sore loser.
The entire amusement park is shaking violently.
Not only that, arms sprouted from everywhere, throwing amusement park facilities and rides at us.
"If this is the end, you don't mind exhausting your magic power, right?"
"Do as you please."
Nemusia and I exchange words while dodging or slicing apart the rubble flying toward us in pieces mid-air.
"Even if I'm not Giraiguu sama, it doesn't change the fact that everything in this land is under my control. Be crushed by overwhelming mass, Kuragane!"
The entire amusement park—does that mean her power is greater than Shimakawa Yuya's?
That being said, she only surpasses him in "power."
No matter how many huge objects she throws, with my agility, dodging them is easy.
But Nemusia, whose agility is low, isn't so fortunate, so I tried to slice the large chunks mid-air as much as possible, or smash them to change their trajectory.
Even so, we still have leeway.
"You don't even need to tell me. Don't think you can order me around, Ooki!"
"You are a Queen, after all."
"It seems you are beginning to understand too, Erika. Now, Wyverns rage, run wild! Tear her into pieces!"
Ooki's body is huge.
Moreover, her defense is clearly lower than Suguro's.
Seizing the opportunity, Nemusia fires off Wyvern Rage in rapid succession.
Ooki's physical body, which was an amorphous mass, had at some point changed its shape into a giant humanoid consisting only of an upper half.
The shape is likely being influenced by her consciousness.
Right around where the head would be, Ooki's physical body was embedded.
The giant raises its arm, attempting to crush Nemusia.
But the Wyvern's breath hits that arm directly.
Perhaps it can't dodge because its body is too large.
Scattering blood and flesh, it raises a voice of agony.
"Guaaaaaaah! What's this, a Queen of a ruined country clinging so wretchedly to life!"
"The Adrasia Kingdom has not perished!"
"Face reality, it rotted away and ended a long time ago! You're a loser of the same kind as meeeeee!"
The arm regenerates and is raised again.
Then, a missile fired from another location lands, hindering it.
"In the end, I didn't use them much as tonfas."
After firing, Inoue san stared at the regenerating batons with an unconvinced expression.
Then Hiyami san appeared next to her and said,
"That's how it is. Even though I have gauntlets, I rarely punch. Look at this, this skill has completely discarded the concept of being a fist."
Saying that, she aimed Gyges at the sky.
"Meteor Starfall."
Gyges detaches from her arm and is launched.
It climbs high above Okoi's head, transforms there, and points its muzzle towards the ground.
Kyuuiiii—energy converges, and countless bands of light are fired, drawing arcs.
Ooki is burned by the light, and the beasts composing her body raise voices of agony.
Furthermore, Gyges itself, floating in the sky, rapidly descends and punches Ooki as if delivering the finishing blow.
Then, having fulfilled its role, it returns to Hiyami san and reattaches to her arm.
"See?"
"My weapons are still on the better side..."
Shown such absurd movements, Inoue san is left speechless.
I don't know if that serves as any consolation, though.
"Surprisingly, in times like this, there isn't much I can do."
Gii said while swatting down small, high-speed flying rubble with her whips.
It's true that the magic she learned isn't specialized for firepower like Nemusia's, and her whip weapon isn't suited for destroying giant objects.
That being said, since she's cloning herself and doing the work of two people, she's being more than helpful enough.
"You're helping out immensely. You can take it easy for now, can't you?"
"I want to show my presence."
"Why?"
"So I don't lose to Rea and Yumemi."
...What's with that competitive spirit.
"Gishishi."
Seeing my reaction, Gii stuck her tongue out and laughed mischievously.
My stomach hurts a little.
Then Rea unexpectedly pops her face right in front of me.
"A rival appearing?"
"It's fine, I don't intend to fight over her with Rea."
"Is that so?"
"I'm aiming for the mistress's seat."
What is this girl talking about.
"My head is starting to hurt..."
"Ahaha, looks like you'll be busy once we get outside and settle down. By the way, I have no intention of losing either."
"Isn't that a bit unsettling?"
"But I'm sure it'll be fun."
There's no doubt about that.
We'll massacre those who bound me.
Laugh off those who trampled on me.
And become happier than anyone else.
"Erika, a Ferris wheel has flown our way again!"
At that moment, Nemusia's voice echoed.
There was a slight edge of anger in her voice, and I could sense she was somewhat shaken by Ooki's provocation.
I too thought nine times out of ten that the Adrasia Kingdom was ruined, but I still respected Nemusia's feelings of belief.
But for Ooki, who connected directly with Kaigyo, to assert that it "perished"—well, that's probably how it is.
It's only natural for her heart to waver.
Even so, to not turn her eyes away from the battle, should I say "as expected of a Queen"?
Such a Nemusia is fully occupied intercepting Ooki's arm and has no leeway to stop the Ferris wheel.
Then Rea steps forward and readies her shield.
"I'll handle that! Reflection Shield!"
The deployed defensive wall repels the Ferris wheel, which is rotating at high speed like a shuriken, aiming it at Ooki.
She caught it with both arms, but the rotation didn't easily stop, and blood violently splattered.
"Rea, why are you doing this to your mother! Why can you do such a thing to the mother who loves you!"
Ooki splits the Ferris wheel in two and throws it away while screaming.
"What 'loving mother' after arbitrarily abandoning me."
Rea said as if spitting it out.
I approached her while throwing knives at Ooki, and whispered in her ear.
"Hey, Rea."
"Hm?"
"Let's kill her together at the end."
"—"
For an instant, Rea's movements freeze.
As if her thoughts had stopped.
But that's not in a bad sense.
As I could tell from the smile she immediately showed me—she was probably happy.
"Yeah, let's do that."
Killing a homeroom teacher and killing a mother might not be balanced.
But I wanted to share that sensation, that joy, that taboo, with her.
Then, perhaps overhearing our exchange, Ooki suddenly became infuriated and screamed.
"Kuragane Erika, Kuragane Erika, Kuragane Erikaaaaa!"
"You're noisy. Even though you always skipped me and ignored me during roll call."
Just getting counterattacked a little and she's like this.
Even though she's done things far worse to me than what I've done until now.
"Why do I have to be trapped by a little nobody like you! Just how much effort do you think I put in to get here!"
Countless beast heads extend from Ooki's body, snapping at us.
They approach while confusing us with their twisting movements, but shooting them down is no problem.
Marin approaches Ooki while continuously slicing them off one after another with her sword.
"You put in the wrong effort, it's only natural."
"What is a traitor like you, who received Giraiguu sama's favor, saying! I am not wrong, you are!"
Using the beast necks extending like tentacles as footholds, she jumps from one to another, aiming for the heart that should be inside the body.
I also follow Marin and close in on the enemy's main body.
The closer we got, the more beasts snapped at us, but I could "see" all the enemy's movements and the paths to evade them.
Running through, jumping up, twisting my body—with Ooki's current movements, catching me was impossible.
What a selfish logic.
To Marin, who isn't even a believer, it's irrelevant.
That's why she treats Ooki coldly.
"If you are a teacher, you should have seen countless examples of unrewarded effort. No—rather, you were in the position of crushing that effort, weren't you."
If Hikarinomiya Academy has been a facility existing for Kaisei kyou from the beginning, then our generation isn't the only one that suffered.
Hundreds of humans have been killed by this academy until now, and thousands have had their values distorted.
If they had been treated properly, there would have been countless humans who could have found normal happiness.
"Rea said it, you know. That you're a person who can't trust anyone. You can only see others as stepping stones. Your husband, your daughter, your fake daughter, everyone."
"What's wrong with that!? Anyone would do the same, making an effort to grasp their own happiness! Even if it means kicking others down!"
"I repeat, your effort was wrong."
"Exactly as Marin said. Everything failed; everything you did, Ooki, was in vain."
"Not yet, the results aren't out yet!"
"They are. If Suguro kun had absorbed you, Ooki, we might have lost. But it was the other way around, so we even have leeway like this. You were already wrong from that point, you know?"
"I am a homeroom teacher and an executive of Kaisei kyou! I am using Suguro's life with legitimate rights! Besides—now that I've absorbed him, I should be able to use the same power!"
A wolf head discolored black attacks me and Marin.
It seems she intends to use Suguro kun's power.
"Less than an imitation. Hmph!"
Certainly, compared to the other heads, its durability is high.
But it doesn't even come close to Suguro kun's armor.
We lightly slice it off and further close the distance to Ooki.
Riding on her arm, we run towards the area around her head where her physical body is embedded, like running up a slope.
"Say, Ooki, how does it feel proving your own failure!?"
"Why! Suguro's armor gave you so much trouble!"
"That was his obsession with combat given form. There's no way you could handle it just by absorbing him."
"In the end, you only see humans as tools—it boils down to that."
"Don't come, don't come neeeear me!"
Flailing your arms wildly now won't shake us off anymore.
Running straight through, reaching her shoulder, Ooki had nowhere left to run.
"By the way, Ooki, you do realize you've been absorbed by Kaigyo, right?"
"What... I don't know... I don't know anything!"
"I see, then I'll tell you. Far from summoning Giraiguu—you guys killed Giraiguu. Because you did nothing but unnecessary things!"
"A, aaaaah! Uwaaaaaaaah!"
Swaying her body and screaming like a child throwing a tantrum.
I approach the giant's head, jump up, and activate a skill.
"Meteor Dive!"
"Gyaaaaaaaaah!"
Gouged by Dreamer, about a quarter of the head bursts off with a Bushaah!.
Sharing the pain, Ooki lets out a scream.
Following that, Marin swung her sword from the opposite direction.
"Izayoi!"
"Gu, giiiiiiiiiiii!"
A powerful thrust pierces the giant made of beasts.
But it seems she didn't find what she was looking for, and continues to slash at other places.
Tsumori Takuro's name tag, the heart of the monster, must definitely be buried in here.
If we destroy that, it's over.
Without even minding being bitten by the beasts, I climb Ooki's head and stand on top of the wound.
Then, like digging a hole with a shovel, I plow through the flesh.
Eventually, I found a plastic case stained with blood.
"Found it—!"
"Don't touch it! Die, just die, Kuragane Erikaaaaa! No! Why did this happen! I was so close, I should have been able to go! I should have been able to go to the True World that fulfills all of me, so whyyyyyy!"
"Ahahahaha, you look completely pathetic, Ooki!"
I wanted to hear that voice.
I wanted to see that suffering.
Thank you Ooki, for giving me happiness at the very end.
Thank you Ooki, for choosing defeat yourself.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
That's why—
"Stay right there at the bottom of your misery—and become a stepping stone for my happiness."
The knife swung down with both hands pierces the name tag.
"A, ah, nooooooooooooooo!"
Instantly, a massive amount of blood spewed from her entire body, and Ooki's death agony echoed.
The bodies of the beasts composing her physical body rapidly decayed, unable to maintain their human shape, and crumbled.
With this, the "monster" is dead.
I grabbed Ooki by the scruff of the neck, where she had been embedded, and jumped off before being swallowed by the rotting flesh.
And told Marin, who landed just nearby:
"Marin, head to the exit with everyone."
"Leave it to me."
"Also, Inoue san, over here!"
"Yeah..."
Tossing Ooki's body aside for the moment, I decided to finish my business with Inoue san first.
Ooki seems to have lost her limbs, so she probably won't be able to run away either.
Inoue san, standing before me, has a very anxious face.
However, a part of her face had already begun to rot.
"So this is... the sensation of a body collapsing. It's strange, there isn't even any pain."
Looking into the distance, I could see the surviving Casts rotting and crumbling.
The Hole-Men's faces are also melting into mush, slowly turning into mere zombies.
With the floor master dead, they could no longer maintain their shapes.
Similarly, the entire amusement park is assaulted by violent tremors and has begun to collapse.
"But can I survive from this state?"
"It's a gamble from the start."
"Wouldn't it be better if I just died like this... well, it's something I already decided. I'm not living just for myself. It's for Hiiro and Ai chan too."
"Exactly. Then I'm going to do it."
"Hey Erika, what on earth—"
Marin, who doesn't know the circumstances, must be quite surprised seeing what is about to happen.
After all, I'm suddenly pulling out Dreamer and piercing Inoue san's heart.
"Ugh..."
She let out a faint groan, and limply entrusted her body to me.
And slowly closed her eyes just like that.
"Wh...!? Why did you kill her! She's a party leader, she can't be resurrected, you know!?"
Marin presses me.
It's a reaction as expected, but a panicked Marin is also fresh and quite amusing.
"Just watch."
"But!"
"Resurrection."
Before it turned into an argument, I resurrected Inoue san.
MP was consumed, so success... I guess.
She's still limp because she's at 1 HP, so it's hard to tell if she came back to life.
For now, with Healing—oh crap, I don't have any MP left.
"Ah—... Gii, can I ask you to heal her?"
"Gii, of course!"
"Thanks."
Receiving Gii's treatment, Inoue san's eyes faintly opened.
"Ugh..."
"Inoue san, do you know who I am?"
"Y, yes... Kuragane Erika."
Consciousness is there, good.
"What is your little sister's name?"
"As if I could forget. Inoue Hiiro."
"Your little sister's best friend?"
"Ushizawa Ai chan, right."
Memories also seem to be fine for now.
Next is—
"Raise your right hand."
"Eh? A-Ah, huh?"
"Raise your left hand."
"Ooooh!?"
"Raise both legs."
"W-Wait, I'll fall over if I do that!"
Inoue san tried to raise both legs exactly as I told her, and fell on her backside.
I offer my hand.
"Can you stand up?"
"I can stand up, but. What is going on...?"
"Can you stand up even if I don't order you to?"
"Isn't that obvious."
Inoue san stands up smoothly.
For now—it seems free will is intact.
Then Marin, who had been watching the situation with her arms crossed, opened her mouth unable to hold back.
"I request an explanation as well."
"I made Inoue san a pet with a skill called 'Tame'. I thought with this method, her physical body might remain even if the floor master perished."
That's a skill I learned as a prerequisite condition when fusing Inuzuka san and Gii.
If you kill Kaigyo's Gangrene while this skill is active, you can add that Gangrene as a party member.
In other words, they enter a state where they can be "resurrected" at any time.
I figured even if the floor master perished and Inoue san became unable to maintain her physical body, this method could bring her back to life.
But there were several problems.
One of them was the possibility that Inoue san, added as a companion via 'Tame', would become a doll devoid of will.
In the first place, it's a skill to add Kaigyo's Gangrene, which are hostile to humans, as companions.
In other words, the ability to strip away free will and turn the target into a pet—since it was an unknown quantity what would happen when used on Inoue san, who is practically human.
As a result, it seems she does follow my orders as expected, but her will as Inoue san also remains, so it shouldn't be a problem.
"How does your body feel?"
"In perfect shape, thanks to you."
"Do you feel like you are being controlled by me?"
"It feels weird that I can't disobey when told, but other than that it's no different from usual. But..."
Inoue san stares at her own palms, her expression clouding over.
"To think I actually survived."
"...Yeah."
"There's no point in being depressed now that you've survived. Spend the rest of your life doting on your sister and Ushizawa san."
"You're right... now that it has come to this, that's all I can do."
She has far too strong a sense of ethics.
I wonder if it's because she's a police officer after all.
Since she managed to come back to life, I want her to be happy to her heart's content.
"Then once again, please handle the evacuation guidance, Marin."
"Good grief. Who was it that said information sharing is important."
"Time is limited, so sorting out what information to convey is also important."
Marin, having watched everything unfold, meets up with Hiyami san and the others and hurries to the facility where the hostages had fled.
"Can I head over there too?"
"Of course. Since it's fine with just me and Rea here, everyone else head to the exit first!"
Inoue san must be worried sick about Hiiro san and Ushizawa san.
Hiiro san and the others are probably worried too, so I want her to show them her face quickly.
Nemusia and Gii also start running towards the exit following my instructions.
With this, only Rea and I are left.
Rea is standing in front of the battered Ooki I threw away, looking down at her expressionlessly.
"Rea... Ah, Rea... Was I, wrong..."
Ooki spoke in a feeble voice.
To her, steeped in tragedy as if she were a victim, Rea announced indifferently.
"That's right, you were wrong all along. Even though Dad believed in you and loved you until the very end, you betrayed him without even believing that. I'm sure there must have been a path where we could have been a properly happy family."
"...I see. I was, wrong, wasn't I."
Ooki admitted her mistake, closed her eyes, and took a breath.
And then she spoke in a gentle voice, like the kind of mother society generally thinks of, something I had never heard before.
"I'm sorry, Rea."
Receiving that, Rea—stomped on Ooki's face with all her might.
"Gah!"
"What are you saying at this point!?"
"R-Rea? Agub, guh, Rea!?"
Furthermore, she stomps on it forcefully again and again.
With a face oozing hatred, just like me.
"Did you think you could die easily and peacefully if you admitted your mistake? The time for that is long gone!"
"A... e...?"
"Do you know how sad and hurt Dad was! Do you know how much I suffered and am still enduring pain even now!? You stole my family's love! I lost my precious friends too! Ooki Ranko! You ruined years of my life!"
Rea screams until her voice is hoarse.
Surely what she is spitting out right now is almost homogeneous with the substance that constitutes me.
That figure, which anyone would see as ugly, is fiercely endearing to me.
"Sor, I'm sor, I'm sorryyyyyy!"
"Those words of apology are also just to protect yourself, aren't they? Discarding even your pride to die easily, this time trying to betray Kaisei kyou! Because you are such a shallow person, in the end, without being loved by anyone, you will be killed with resentment!"
When she stomped exceptionally hard on her face, Ooki's teeth broke, and her nose was crushed and bent.
She became unable to say anything but "guh, ga", and her body convulsed as she spat blood-mixed drool from her mouth.
Perhaps seeing that sight cooled her head a bit, Rea looked up at the sky and let out a trembling breath, "Haa...".
Then she slowly looked at me and whispered anxiously.
"...Erika."
"Hm?"
"I... might have made a terrible face just now. Could I still be making it?"
Ah, to think you were worried about something like that—something so cute?
Not about yourself.
Not even about your mother.
For my sake.
Wondering how you appear to me.
That is probably a more intense courtship than any words.
I walk up to her, place my hand on her cheek, which is beautifully contorted with hatred, and declare.
"Cute."
"Kh..."
"I got to see a new side of Rea. I've come to like you even more, much more than before. Or rather, the me who is looking at that and smiling is actually the nasty one."
"That's not true! Because if my hands make Ooki suffer and make Erika happy, I think that's more wonderful than mere revenge."
"You're right... Maybe that's why I said let's kill her together. Ulterior motives, huh."
"Ulterior motives too... if it's from someone you like, it can make you happy. Ah, but was it okay? I ended up doing most of it... Erika wanted to do it too, right."
"I'm satisfied because I got to see something good. Besides, the end is properly left."
"For that part, as expected, I definitely wanted the two of us to do it."
I kneel in front of the lying Ooki and grasp Dreamer.
Rea crouches across from me with Ooki between us, and overlays her hand to envelop mine.
Rea is staring at me with moist eyes.
She lets out a feverish sigh, "Haa."
I am the same.
My heart pounds.
Our touching hands sweat and tremble with nervousness.
But it was a pleasant nervousness.
Because it came from expectation.
"P-Please, Rea... at least, look at, me..."
I can hear something.
But that voice doesn't reach our world.
Feeling only the joy of sharing this moment with each other.
The life lost here didn't matter to us anymore.
With a thud, the blade falls.
"Ug..."
Her heart pierced, I could feel Ooki's body twitch and tremble through the hilt.
[Monster 'Human' killed . Congratulations, you have leveled up to 99!]
And the message clearly conveying "death" resounds in my head.
A shiver runs down my spine.
When I floated a smile filled with dark joy, Rea moistened her eyes with passion and smiled seductively.
Our overlaid hands rub against each other.
Our sweaty hands make a faint sticky sound.
"We killed her, didn't we."
When I said that, Rea answered as if savoring it.
"Yeah, we killed her. Together with Erika, we killed my mother."
Cold chains connect us.
Carved into us as a bond that will never separate.
Squinting rapturously at that sensation, I was immersed in its lingering resonance.
But unfortunately, the world won't wait for us that long.
The collapse is progressing rapidly, and if we stay here like this, we will eventually be swallowed up.
That would be meaningless.
I can't die until I get outside and madly indulge in the sinfully sweet affection fostered precisely because of this abnormal world, in the normal world.
So we gradually surface to normalcy.
Though that "normal" has long since been violated and has become something different from its original form.
"It's over... haha, we killed my mom."
"Good work."
"Mm. You too, Erika."
"I just felt good, that's all."
"I... felt good too. But I was able to feel that way because I met Erika. If I were alone, no matter how much she betrayed me, I probably wouldn't have been able to shake off my mother."
"I don't know what a normal family is like, but I'm sure that's how it is. If I, who has a weak relationship with my parents, ended up influencing you, Rea..."
"Will you take responsibility?"
Rea smiles mischievously.
I answered boldly.
"I will."
And press my lips to the back of our joined hands.
"Kh... Erika, you can d-do things like that!?"
"Because there's no point in my shame. So I thought I'd do something that would make Rea happy. Ah... you weren't happy?"
I thought maybe I acted a bit too cool, but I think doing this much is fine.
It's going to happen sooner or later, so I have to steel myself too.
"That's not true not true not true at all! I was so happy!"
Rea's face turned bright red as she swung her hands up and down vigorously.
I think she says pretty bold things casually too, but she does get embarrassed.
"Also, um, next time too... I'm looking forward to it. Just kidding."
Moreover, even while feeling shy, she can say things like "next time."
By that, she means not the hand or forehead, right.
...Well, I think I could probably do it even now if I wanted to, if it's Rea.
But as expected, there is too little time right now.
"...Um, ahaha, let's go."
"Yeah, let's go together!"
We stand up and start running hand in hand.
Eventually the ground began to collapse, and Ooki's corpse was swallowed by the darkness and vanished without a trace.
◇◇◇
"Resurrection!"
After meeting up with the others who had escaped ahead, I moved near the entrance of Fantasy Land and resurrected Akabane san.
Though, since my MP had dried up from using Resurrection on Gii and Inoue san, I had Nemusia learn a skill to distribute MP.
"Dad... Daaaaaaad!"
"Kanako. I'm sorry, I showed you such a pathetic sight."
"I don't care if you're pathetic! Just don't leave me behind and dieeeeee!"
A daughter shedding tears and clinging to her father resurrected from a corpse.
A normal form of parent and child.
What I found interesting was that you could tell the relationship between the person and their family from the expression on their face as they look at each other.
Rea, perhaps because she left her father behind, seemed to have mixed feelings and had tears in her eyes.
Nemusia also had a solemn expression, thinking of her father who is no longer there.
The Inoue sisters, Ushizawa san, Mitsurugi san, and the others were genuinely moved, probably having a good relationship with their parents.
On the other hand, Hiyami san and Gii didn't seem to feel anything in particular.
I'm also on that side myself, though.
The one who caught my attention the most was Marin.
She was biting her lip, showing an expression as if she hated it, or was suffering.
While I was observing like that, before I knew it, Akabane san had come before me and bowed his head.
"Kuragane san, thank you. I had confidence I could guide them more smartly, but..."
"You had the atmosphere of someone who would do something reckless for his daughter, so I'm glad I put you in the party."
Akabane san also seemed to feel a sense of responsibility as a Fantasy Land staff member.
Even so, dying in front of his daughter is going too far.
"Well then, let's get out of the amusement park soon. Everyone is here, right?"
The ones who survived on this floor are the Inoue sisters, Akabane san, the hostages kidnapped by Ooki and the others, and the survivors originally worked like horses by Ooki's group.
All things considered, it's a large group of nearly 30 people in total.
If the alternate world continues beyond here, how many of them will survive and escape?
I'm bad at gathering people, so it might be fine to leave that part to Akabane san.
"The wall blocking the gate disappeared, didn't it."
Inoue san had seen the entrance blocked once, so she could tell the change.
However, beyond that, there are no stairs like the first floor, only a path leading somewhere.
But the amusement park will collapse soon anyway.
We have no choice but to advance.
"Alright, let's go. Make sure not to get separated!"
I walked at the front and finally exited Hikarinomiya Fantasy Land.
The path beyond it merely continued in a straight line.
From behind, a sound like something shaking... could be heard.
Looking back, I could see countless rides tilting and being swallowed into the earth.
The sky also cracked and fell, and pitch-black nothingness was spreading.
It's just like the end of the world.
Meanwhile, the path we were advancing on suddenly began to be enveloped in dazzling light.
Furthermore, our footing wobbled, and we were enveloped in a sensation as if we were floating.
"Kyaaaaaaaah!"
Rea let out a voice and clung to me.
"What is happening!? Where are we being sent to!"
I can hear Nemusia's confused voice.
The survivors also raised voices of bewilderment respectively, and the surroundings suddenly became noisy.
But hearing voices means we weren't scattered.
Eventually the light cleared little by little, and a scenery different from before came into view.
"This is the final floor—"
Before I knew it, I had both feet on the ground, and gasped at the sight spreading there.
Not the school building. Not the amusement park.
Because it was a scenery probably impossible in Japan.
Vivid green grasslands.
An old stone-paved highway extending through the center.
And beyond that—stone houses and a large castle.
"We were able to return, huh."
Realizing it, everyone who was in the amusement park was nearby.
From among them, Nemusia took a step forward and raised her voice.
"My homeland, the Adrasia Kingdom!"
